I recently signed on to provide reviews of wineries in Northern California for the American Winery Guide. This site aims to do for the entire nation what I was hoping to do for wineries east of San Francisco, before that app idea died due to lack of interest on the part of said wineries. Anyway, Jim Finley and the folks at AWG are building a national database of all things related to wineries and wine regions. To help this important effort gain traction on the web, I encourage you to explore it, see what it offers for your own area, and, maybe even look into providing some reviews of what’s happening close to home.
