When Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars burst onto the world stage in 1976 at a tasting now known as The Judgment of Paris, there was no way to tell if this young winery was a flash in the pan or the beginning of something substantial and significant. Thirty-seven years later, anybody who pays attention to wine knows it was the latter.
