Just wanted to throw a little family pride around for a minute. My brother Brendan's translation of the Spanish language classic, Antagony, by Luis Goytisolo, is on The New Yorker's list of the best books of 2022. My son-in-law came up with what is easily one of the most thoughtful, creative, and funniest Christmas gifts ever. Some of my former students might get a little PTSD from the second photo. Just remember, they are always in effect. 😂 UPDATE: I forgot to mention that he and my daughter had on these shirts under the regular "open presents clothing" and pulled up their sweaters once I opened my gift. The laughter from us all nearly broke our living room windows. Beyond perfect!
